Crystalyte HT/HS 35 Hub motors
The HT (T=more torque) and HS (S=more speed) by Crystalyte are top of the line heavy duty Hub motors. These motors are what we personnally run for daily use. Built tough with no moving parts has allowed these motors to surpass 50,000 miles and still going strong! These motors run at 24V, 36V 48V and 72V. We recommend the 48V setup for most applications. The kit includes the following: Motor and rim, 7 or 8 speed 14T-28T freewheel (for rear version), Thumb twist or half-twist throttle, APM display (dash board), Brake levers with built in kill switch. spoke wrench. These kits are available in 20", 24", 26" and 29" sizes. You can upgrade the APM to a Cycle Analyst for $99.

Bafang 8FUN Mid-Drive
This mid-drive motor has a wide range of power offerings making it a good choice for a lot of applications. They make available a 250, 350, 500 and 750 watt systems in 36 and 48 volt power ranges. This is the most efficient motor setup we currently offer due to being able to use the gearing system of the bike. The 250W and 300W system runs at 38V and the larger systems run 48V.
The controller, which is built into the mid drive uses the latest sine wave technology for a smooth, quiet and efficient ride and from the console you have 3 levels of assist to choose from. Another feature found in the BBS-01 mid drive is a double clutch design that allows a rider to use the Pedalec (assist only when pedaling) or throttle for assistance.
This is a great option for light commuting and getting around town or campus. It fits on 90% of the bikes made so check with us to ensure yours will work.
G8/G12 Geared Hub Motors
The G12 (High torque pedicab motor) and G8 (Higher speed motor) are hub motors with an internal planetary gear system that provides AMAZING torque. These motors run at 36V and 48V and operate at higher RPM due to the step down gearing. The advantage of these motors is that they are able to freewheel and are lighter than the direct drive motors. We recommend the 48V setup for most applications. The kit includes the following: Motor and rim, appropriate controller, 7 or 8 speed 14T-28T freewheel (for rear version), Thumb twist or half-twist throttle, Brake levers with built in kill switch and spoke wrench. These kits are available in 20", 24", 26" and 29" sizes. Note: Display dash boards are sold separately with these models.

Bafang 8FUN 500w Hub Drive
The Bafang 8-Fun Hub motor is available in front or rear drive and is available in 36V or 48V for the same price, however, the 36V battery is more affordable and compact. This is our most affordable conversion kit while maintaining high quality. There are millions of these motors running on every continent. This is motor uses planetary gears to greatly increase torque and keeping the wieght down.
These motors are perfect for zipping around campus, cruising Bricktown or simply running to the store. They are great for converting cruisers, hybrids and Fixies. The only drawback on these is a long shipping time (usually 6-8 weeks).
